 Our community friends 

We enjoy the many opportunities to connect with local communities which share our love of gardening including schools.
We value our community, the sharing and development of good gardening practice, low cost events to enable everyone to benefit and the fun, friendship and a sense of well being by joining in.

  
Banstead Arts Festival

Since 2012 we have enjoyed being part of the Banstead Arts festival when we have hold an open evening or other event and welcome members of the public. 

Banstead Village in Bloom (BVIB) 

We work with BVIB on various gardening initiatives.  Since its formation in 2016  BVIB has evolved into a large group of volunteers who work to enhance the village of Banstead. 

Allotments ​

We include all allotment gardeners in the district. We have excellent long standing links with the Tattenham Way Allotment and Gardens Association. 

 Well-being and disability 

Gardening is often associated with fitness and a healthy lifestyle. It is also used therapeutically to help individuals recover or manage mental or physical difficulties. Our daytime meetings provide an ideal opportunity to learn more from specialist workers and  raise funds in support.  

Local events​ 

The Society takes part in various local events including Banstead Village Day .
